I'm getting an error on all versions and svn's of Gallery 3 but it doesn't appear to have been reported previously.
I have a particular folder and sub folders that consistently give me the following error when I try to load them into Gallery 3 using the "Add from server" option. I am using the GD toolkit.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16660 bytes) in /volumes/Digital 800 HD 1/Metcalfe World/components/gallery3/kohana/libraries/drivers/Image/GD.php on line 76
If I add an album manually and then select all the same images to be loaded then the loading process completes every time - although some of the images can occasionally be loaded without thumbnails.
I have other image folders and sub folders that load every time using Add from server and they contain more/larger images than the folders that fail. I therefore think it is something perculiar to the particular folders/images. I'm happy to provide the folders in question if that will help with any investigation/fault fixing required.
King Regards,
Paul

This is a FAQ Try using ImageMagick or GraphicsMagick instead of GD if you're going to work with large images.
FAQ: PHP memory_limit - Why do I get the error Allowed memory size of Xxx bytes exhausted?
