wont let me instal plugins / use plugins / change theme and i cant choose a different theme

title says it all... literally

basically, i cannot change the theme ( i am stuck on matrix)
i cannot deactivate plugins
i cannot activate plugins

im trying setting ALL my files to 0777 chmod
but wither this poses security threats or not... i don't know

but worth a try, if it doesnt work all i do is delete then re upload for the painful 13 hours it took godaddy to upload it :/
rubbish hosting that it is

Did you ever get this to work? I am having the same issue - Only MATRIX shows up

nah, sorry,

what host are you using?
I was using godaddy.
might be the host that disallows us...

FAQ: What information is required when I ask for help in the forums?
Looks to me like a Javascript issue. Do you get a JS error in the browser?
