in album view if I select "edit caption" from the "edit photo" pull down menu a window pops up letting you edit caption text. Fine and good. However, the "photo capture date" info appears on the same screen. If it defaults too a non-legal number (such as year 0000), I assume because the digital cameral that took the shot didn't have the date and time set, then you are forced to manually set the date. You can not choose to ignore the date, it insists that you enter a legal date before it will save the caption text. On top of that, you loose modications to the caption text if you submit changes without a legal date.
