block downloading of pictures?

Is there a way to block people from downloading pictures in my album?

Yep, watermarking is the best option. If I can see it, I can download it. Even if you "cover" it with a transparent PNG via css. If I can see, not only can I download it, but I already have and it's sitting in my browser cache.
