Editing a web site running Gallery2, using Gallery Remote??

I am editing a web site running Gallery2 at entryhost.com. I have never worked with Gallery previously; in any case I read up on this application and downloaded the WindowsXP Gallery remote module, however I was unable to access the site admin page of the Gallery2 installation. I researched the documentation and forum but still am unable to connect Gallery Remote, I get "Gallery Remot can find no protocol" error. After searching through the forum I believe the remote control plug-in needs to be enabled, but I am unable now to access the site admin page of my site. I installed Gallery2 successfully on my Win XP machine running Apache and MySql, however this hasn't helped me to edit the site I need to edit. Not sure what the issue is exactly and would just like to know the simplest means for being able to edit the web site to add and or modify pages within the web site from a Windows XP or Vista OS?? Please let me know what I need to do so I don't waste any more time with this as I need to make changes to this site. Rob |

You don't need Gallery Remote (and can't do most site editing with it) - you add/modify items and edit various parameters from within the website itself. After you login (look for the "login" link) you get extra menus in each album, and a system-level menu command "Site Admin" that takes you to the Site Admin menu.
