I know this is very early but I was just wondering if there was any plans for a Joomla 1.5 Bridge? I would think it makes it easier with groups in Gallery3 but I don't know how hard it is.

Thank you

Your best bet would be to talk to whoever develops the current Joomla 1.5 bridge.

I've just requested info in the Joomla forums asking the same question.
I have asked here because the current bridge is being hosted on this site so I figured maybe someone here will plan to create one?

Thank you very much.
I love Gallery3 and Joomla so they make a great marriage.

My best guess is to try Jfusion.

I have not heard of any bridge for G3 so far. I would think a G3 bridge would be different from the old G2 bridge as the structure is different but that is just what I would think.

Has anyone else heard of any other information or tried G3 with Joomla 1.5.x ?

Appreciate any help from anybody or point us towards the right direction.

THank you.

As someone said, it seems that Jfusion will provide it, check this http://www.jfusion.org/index.php/forums/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=3178. Guy that replied is one of the developers.

Hallo zusammen.

Prio 2: Einbetten der Gallery "as is" in Joomla

As you surely can see everybody here in this section of the forum wrote in English. So why do you think anybody will understand what you want when you're writing in a foreign language?

This is the way it translated for me in my gmail.

Hello.
I would be happy right on a G3 Bridge, as the new Gallery version large images can be used much better. The Bridge I could finally send the old G2 into retirement.
The roadmap for a bridge would be for me the following:
Prio 1: Comparison of the username from Joomla to G3, using the same Joomla session (no additional login)
Prio 2: Embedding the gallery "as is" in Joomla
Prio 3: cutting out the menus and insert a Joomla plugin / component
For me a priority would be enough to replace the Gallery2 can.
Can I say one of the developers, what would that be an expense? Copy must be displayed only from J to G, to be forwarded to the login credentials do? Or you could use some mechanism like in Joomla
'I have a user x and is valid for you and belongs to y'?
Greetings

Args.
Due to the fact I have to write everything in english at work and in the forums regarding my hobbies, I sometimes don't even realize which language I currently read or write. I beg your pardon.

I wrote (in german):

Hi everybody.

I would be very happy about a G3 bridge, because the new version is much better in displaying hugh images. The new bridge would enable me to send the g2 into retirement.

I would descripe the roadmap for such a bridge as followed:
Prio 1: synchronisation of user names from Joomla to G3. If possible, an existing Joomla session should be used ( no second login)
Prio 2: Embed the gallery "as is" into Joomla
Prio 3: Cut the menus from the gallery and place them in joomla components / plugins

For me, a prio1 bridge would be sufficent to exchange g2 with g3
Can anybody of the developers tell me the estimated effort for such a project? Do I have to copy all accounts from J to G3 and pass credentials to the gallery when login in? Or is it possible to use a mechanism like 'I've got a user x. He is a valid user and belongs to group y'?

Best regards,
_x_

I'm sorry I didn't realize the wrong language. mea culpa, mea maxi culpa...
