I'm having an issue with my gallery software after I recently updated the software. Everything works as normal but the software will not create the thumbnails for the gallery. It will however create the highlight image. For example: http://www.twincityoffroad.com/gallery/moab09

Does your Gallery create thumbnails, when you do not set them to be squared?
