Hi -

I'm seeing some page shifting when I switch from horizontal to vertical and back. In this gallery, you can see it when changing from the first photo to the 2nd photo and from the 3rd photo to the 4th photo -- http://www.photoescapes4u.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=142

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Barb

After further searching of the forums, I thought my post more likely belong in this forum. I hope someone will be able to offer some advice.

Thanks,
Barb

With furthing testing, I've determined the "jump" that occurs when switching photo orientation only occurs in Firefox and not in IE. I'm still looking for a way to fix it in FF.

FF only adds scroll bars as necessary while IE the bar is all ways there if it is needed or not.

I guess one fix would be to make your page tall enough to always have a scrollbar?
I bet there is a bunch of other ways but to me is is not a big deal.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the posting. I didn't realize that the appearance of the scroll bar was what was making the picture "jump". That explains a lot!
