I'm very new to this, and had to ask our IT guy at work to set the site up.

I would like to know how to hide the Sub Album info on the following
http://rswphotos.net/gallery/albums.php

I tried to get into config wizard, only to find it has been disabled.

I can ask our IT guy to do to the changes if they are to difficult for me.

Many thanks in advance
Russell

Hi,

You mean the tree on the right sight?
Thats indeed handled via the config.

If the Wizard is disabled, you can edit the config.php file manually.

P.S.: Why did you install such an OLD version? With bugs? And PHP5 problems?

Hi Tim

Many thanks,

I'm not sure why he used this version.
Is it easy for me to upgrade to the latest version? or should he do it.
What version would you recommend for me to use?

Cheers
Russell

Upgrade is easy: Copy it over.

BUT some things have change regarding layout.
So i suggest you make a copy of your current install. remove all except a few albums and then test the upgrade.

Hi Tim,

The reason our IT guy used this version, is that it is on the web host companies site Melbourne IT.
I did call them and our IT guy to advise your suggestions, hopefully they will replace this version to the next one.

You may want to also advise Melbourne IT to use the newer version.

many thanks in advance
Russell
