two problems in cvs 1.3.5 b117 with unnicode utf-8 encoding

hi , I am un-official Chinese Traditional Language translator with utf-8 unicode encoding.

I got b117 and upgrade gallery from b114
The installation is almost (not perfect) successful for gallery b117 as module in postnuke.

The utf-8 charactors works while gallery b117 as module in postnuke.

but while gallery alone as
http://wi777.homelinux.net/modules/gallery/
the utf-8 charactors will display invalid.

so I delete my b117's album and try install all album again

now utf-8 charactor will display both condition (standalone/module in postnuke)

but
only in standalone mode , I just am able to search slash charactors
what i mean in module of postnuke with utf-8 unnicode encoding,
I can not search slash charactors any more

Note there is a bug in b117 and b118 so they don't work with NUKE. Fixed version is available from CVS.

Is it possible to put charset utf-8 somewhere as a option during gallery installation new ver in the future.

Hi wi777,

do you have our zh_TW-gallery.po in utf-8 ?

If yes, what about if you contact our current traditional chinese translator and talk about switching from big5 to utf-8 ?
