OK so i am switching servers..... to godaddy

My original site which works.... http://www.myscratchoff.com

to my new site which i am testing till i get it working http://www.vipclubsindc.com/myscratchoff/gallery2

When you click on a page on my testing website it says: No input file specified. After much research I see that people have been experiencing the same problem on godaddy servers and it is the htaccess file for URL REWRITE.... it works fine if i have URL REWRITE off but i need it for SEO and google rankings that i currently have.

I was wondering if i can get somebodys htaccess file that is on a linux shared hosting by godaddy.com...

If you think there might be something else please advise... I am loosing sleep over this transfer...

Thanx in advance,

Brian P

Choose the other rewite method, not PHP PathInfo support.

uninstall the module.
install the module and you should be prompted to configure it.
click configure
click the 'Apache mod_rewrite' link.

Done

is it possible that if my g2_data files are not all set to 777 then the urlrewrite configuration will not work.... becuase i am pretty sure not all the files are 777 because my server had a problem and changed most of my setting in that folder...

Is there a way to change all of the files in the g2_data folder to a 777 from gallery site admin...

please advise.

thanx,
Brian P

FAQ: How can I fix the filesystem permissions of the Gallery storage folder?

The adverts that are on the bottom of the page is preventing it from working properly. Are you adding these or is your host?
