Problem with the Pre-installer

Hello,

I'm trying to install Gallery with the Pre-Installer. I have installed the preinstall.php on my website.

But now I'm trying to activate this file and it writes this :

"Local working directory/home/www/0ce29155e4691d43b7122f09c6b7db1d/web is not writeable!
Suggested fix:
ftp> chmod 777 web"

What's this? What can I do?
