can't update

hello

i have dowloaded the file for version 2.3 of gallery

when i try to update, after the end of phase 2 (login) i got this error message

Hello,

besides this is a G1 Forum ...

Gallery 1 and Gallery 2 does not work with "safe mode on".
Please contact your Hoster about this PHP setting.
