Hi all I'm new to this kind of thing as I'm just helping a mate out.

My mate has hired a web host that offers lots of tools, all you have to do is install them using Fantastico this is how I found Gallery.

But when I get to step 2 it comes up with a error.
Details here:

New Installation (2.3)
Disk space required: 69.94 MB
Disk space available: 14976.5 MB

Current installations:
None
--------------------------------------------------------------

Install Gallery step(2/3)

The installation can not be completed:

- No valid directory name provided.

Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors.
-------------------------------------------------------------

I have have tryed to install it to the root of the site but will not let me do that , so i told it to install it into a folder i made in /public_html/gallery and then i did /public_html/gallery/RocGall still would not work i do not understand why it will not work.

Note: I have a website built in the /public_html (Dir)

Here are some of the server specs:

Hosting package professional1
Server Name phoenix
cPanel Version 11.23.6-STABLE
cPanel Build 27698

Hope I have given enough info If any one can help me I would be ever so great full
Thanks

What i found out, was that when installing internally you do not have to use any /// just put the file name no extensions or no sub folders just put a name like Gallery and the installation will do the rest.
