Gallery Problem

The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version: 1.5.3
Apache version: 2.2.9 (Unix)
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):5.2.6
Graphics Toolkit:
Operating system: linux
Web browser/version (if applicable): MSIE 7

My ISP has finally started using suPHP on server where my website is housed and my gallery was down. I've gone through the forum and come across information on suPHP. Problem I have now is when I use http://www.mydomain.com/gallery the browser cannot locate the gallery albums. However, when I use http://www.mydomain.com/gallery/albums.php the albums come up correctly and I am able to carry out all other options therein. I know that I can just use the http://www.mydomain.com/gallery/albums.php link but before they installed suPHP http://www.mydomain.com/gallery would bring up the albums. Is there a correct url to call the gallery from the browser. Thanks.
