make-Problems

Hi.

I am using poEdit to change the german translation (de.po). For example in gallery2\themes\matrix\po. After saving, poEdit says, that it has translated 13 strings. When i now upload the .mo and .po via FTP and restart the server ("apache2 -k restart"), nothing happens.
So i tried to use the make ("make install PO=de"). There it says, that it has translated just 10 strings.

Where is my mistake?

Tried this also with other files (e.g. in core), but there is everywhere an similar problem.
