Using MediaBlock causes massive performance problems

I just try to use MediaBlock from flashyourweb.com - but it causes massive performance problems to my webserver.

My Zikula site itself runs without problems and I use dynamic Albums with Gallery for a longer time now without problems.
But when I now call MediaBlock.php my servers load increases rapidly.
