Hi there!

I've got a problem with Gallery 2.3. I've read the tutorial how to embed gallery2 into any existing website and it works, except 2 things:
1. I cannot login from embedded page or adminstrate.
2. Links displayed at the top of embedded page (showing how deep I'am in my gallery) do not work. When I click on any of these links (e.g. I want to jump 2 levels up), "&g2_highlightId=xxx" is added to address of the page and the page goes blank. When I delete it, everything works fine...

Where Have I made a mistake?

PS: I'm using SIRIUX theme.

Your editor or your ftp is corrupting the script.

Which one? The gallery2embedded looks exactly as I've created. I'm writing with dreamweaver, and had never have problems with corrupted scripts, after upload (DW does it quite well). Is it possible to just remove the added stuff from url?

suprsidr is correct. I had/have the exact same problem. I believe I've tracked it down (with suprsidr's help) to ws-ftp and .php files. If you view your white page in Firefox you'll see a few extraneous characters instead of the blank page. No matter how I edit the .php, (DreamWeaver, notepad, Aptana) if I upload it using ws-ftp I get the same blowout. I now upload all .php using Aptana (thanks AGAIN suprsidr) Or I just paste the php into an edit window in GoDaddy. And no probs. I'm still testing different variations of edit/upload to see which works best for me. By the way, I have the same problem when uploading .php I've edited with and thru DreamWeaver. No issues at all with other file types. Still kind of clueless but at least there are workarounds.
