Streaming video in Gallery

I downloaded the lastest version of Gallery, and am wanting to setup a section of my gallery that will stream video files that I have uploaded. I have the ffmpeg plugin installed and configured correctly, but when clicking on a video that was uploaded to gallery, the only thing that I get is a link that says "Download movie". I'm trying to resemble the functionality of the following gallery: http://www.zefrank.com/theshow/gallery/v/sports+racer+intros/ Clicking on any one of those videos in that particular section will auto load and play the video. I would like to be able to set the dimensions of the video as I please as well. Anyone have any ideas? I'm kind of stumped as to what to do to make this work. |

All ffmpeg does is detect the movie dimensions and creates a thumb, if the format is supported. You can edit the movie and give it dimensions if your version of ffmpeg does not detect the size properly. Dave |

But will ffmpeg enable the functionality of allowing the video to be streamed like in the link I referenced? That's what I am overall trying to achieve. |

Log into gallery, under the movie there is a link called edit movie. Click that. Dave |

Okay, I set the dimensions in that area. However, is there an automatic way for this to be done? I'd like not to have to go through that process for every single video that is uploaded. It appears that a thumbnail is also not being generated for gallery videos either. It's located at http://www.filmreelproductions.com/gallery |

it would appear that your video does not show anything: I think you might consider using flashmovies as they are more cross browser compatible. Dave _____________________________________________ |

I noticed you had another item added. I downloaded that item and added it to my test gallery: Dave |

I'm not sure why the first video that you tried did not have video or audio, as it does for me. Maybe that was the flash version that I later deleted, as I had to convert one to .AVI and re-upload it to gallery. The second one that you downloaded from me and uploaded to your test gallery is exactly how I want the videos to behave. Where have I gone wrong? I'm getting no automatic thumbnail nor auto defined dimensions. |

perhaps your ffmpeg is not up to date. Quote:
