wordpress 2.6.3 + wpg2.3.0.7 + dreamhost = ERROR_MISSING_OBJECT

Hi all, sorry for my english, i'm an italian user.

I'm working on wordpress 2.6.3 and wpg2.3.0.7 on dreamhost (www.dreamhost.com).
I have succefully installed wp (www.ishotpix.com) and gallery2 (www.ishotpix.com/gallery/main.php).

When in the wp panel i go on WPG2, i have

Same thing here.

Updated to WP 2.6.5 (because it didn't work before with the same error) and reinstalled Gallery2 2.3 using WPG2 3.0.7. I also changed my datadir to something outside of /htdocs for security reasons (../g2data from the WP Installation). WP is installed directly into /htdocs, gallery in /htdocs/gallery2. Every Setting is done as it should be and everything I need to have installed in Gallery2 is installed. I have no clue what to do..

Anyone found a workaround or THE resolution?

Now i use Gallery Shortcode, see here http://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_Shortcode .

*lol* and I just figured out the (really simple) solution:

After activating the WPG2 Plugin just log out (maybe clear out all your cookies) and log back on, thats it. Now everything is working flawless :)

Now I'm really pissed at me that I didn't try THAT out before I reinstalled G2 two times (because I had problems with my ftp due to my very limited speed). Next time I'll try the easy steps first ;)

Yes, I am. Just got it finally to work, last thing I need to do is change the used template a bit because it still directs to wp-gallery2.php instead of wpg2.php but that shouldn't be a problem :)
