Page not displaying properly in Firefox

The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version:1.6rc2
Apache version:Lighttpd 1.42
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):5.2
Graphics Toolkit:netpbm and imagemagick
Operating system:free bsd (freenas)
Web browser/version (if applicable): Firefox 2 & 3 and IE 6 & 7

Pages are not displaying properly when viewed with either of the mentioned Firefox versions but display fine with both IE versions

It appears that in firefox it is not reading the theme information or skin.

When viewing my Gallery pages with IE 6 or 7 all looks as expected. When I use Firefox 2 or 3 it appears that it is not applying the theme or the skin.
