help putting a gallery web site up.

i used to use G2 with a theme by pedrogilberto and want to do something a bit different.

I am not technical and therefore am willing to have someone help. I would like the homepage (first page people see) to be very simple but have 4-6 images that are tall (like 2 inch wide by 6 inces tall - am flexible on exact cropping). I would like the images to be random from a select group - not sure but maybe it is as simple as a few albums that only contain those images.

But then I would like some way for the visitor to see a list of other albums - I shoot nature/landscape and wildlife -

I would like paypal enabled as well as a guestbook (not critical)

i prefer the understated look and liked the charcoal grey and micro thumbs of the pedro theme - maybe all i need is help with tweaking the theme and getting the first page right.

i had put a very simple page that required that people click on an image to be redirected to the main.php page but want to eliminate that. Perhaps all i need is a bit of consultation rather then installing and a lot of custom code.

Please forgive my ignorance, I simply want to create a nice way of sharing my images
