Hi, not sure if this is the right place for this, but, we're about to launch a site to the public using G2.3 and some of our in house testing has thrown up some issues I need to solve. Mostly to do with search.

Firstly, nobody knows why 'gallery core' appears. They can see that they should get results labelled tags, or comments as in advanced search these are tickable options. However keywords, titles summaries and descriptions are all lumped together as one result set. The feeling is that for the end user it'd be easier to understand the results if they were either displayed under the appropriate headings (i.e. not having several headings lumped together as 'gallery core') or all results were presented in a single list that aggregates results from the ticked options into one results array.

Secondly, clicking on the show in slideshow on the results pages is excellent, but when you exit the slideshow it doesn't seem to be returning you to your search results page, but to the page you were viewing prior to searching.

Any ideas how I'd go about fixing these issues? My thought was to clone the search module and hack it so these problems don't appear but that might not be a great idea.

Any pointers are appreciated.

Hi, I have a similar problem with V2.3. When doing a search from the sidebar option, and then slecting slideshow, the slideshow works ok and returns to the search view. BUT if I select advanced search and type a search string into the advanced search block on the search view, then do a slideshow... on exit from the slideshow I get a whitescreen with 'webpage has expired' and need to do a browser refresh to recover the search view.

Please has anyone got a solution for this, or failing that a way to remove the slideshow option from the search module.
