Error configuring ImageMagick

Attempting to install and configure ImageMagick Plugin on solaris 10... i installed the toolkit and tested it from the command line works fine however errors out Failed
Error messages:

Problem executing binary when attempting to run the Test Settings from Gallery2..

looking at the debug output at the bottom I do see the error...

Error Output:
ld.so.1: identify: fatal: libMagickCore.so.1: open failed: No such file or
directory
Status: 137 (expected 0)

I would assume this is because apache doesn't know the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable... tried adding it with a SetEnv in the httpd.conf still no dice >.< any suggestions?
