I simply cannot run the wizard, and can't make a new gallery... When I try to log in the gallery, it says: Error, server contacted, but gallery not found in this URL (http://dorottya.uw.hu/gallery).. But I made this folder, so don't know, what's the problem...

1) don't hijack another thread with an unconnect problem.

2) it's not a gallery problem. I can't get to http://dorottya.uw.hu
talk to your host about why your site is down.

Now I tried another server, the connection was ok, but it said that can't find .../gallery/gallery_remote.php . Where can I fint this php file, and how can I upload it?

fine. You can reach it. I've now tried from 3 different places. You may be able to see it but no one else can.

What are you talking about? Your site is down, this is not Gallery related and has nothing to do with Gallery remote.

dorottya, you need to get your server/host-issue resolved before even attempting to get Gallery installed. There is no way we can help you, when your server doesn't work.

If the gallery_remote.php file is missing, you have done something wrong when extracting the downloaded Gallery archive.

So, the correct approach would be:

1. Get your server issues resolved.
2. Start all over with your gallery install, and follow the readme/documentation on this site.
3. Come back here with specific issues, if any, regarding your gallery installation.

I installed it again, done everything well (I think:o) and have the same problem...
