I've integrated my Gallery2 into a TikiWiki site. I downloaded the registration file and registered. When I try to publish from XP, it allows me to sign in. Then shows my albums. If I try to add a new album it fails. If I try to upload pics it fails. Can this work? If I use the same id and do it within the upload page it works fine. |

- did you write your own twiki integration or use an existing integration?
- does the integration synchronize user accounts between twiki and g2?
- does the integration synchronize passwords between twiki and g2?
with g2.2, this is possible if twiki uses plain old md5() as password hash function or supplies the passwords to g2 in cleartext.
in g2.3, this works also if twiki is using phpass for password hashing.

I wrote my own integration which authenticates using the users and creates them. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to get the passwords correct, so I disabled this aspect for now. I plan to get back on it after I fix some other problems that upgrading to 2.3RC1 have caused.

Valiant: is there already an integration program written that connects gallery2 to tikiwiki? If yes, then I would certainly want to use it versus trying to create one myself. Thanks
