So confused I'm not sure what to ask. WPG2 does not seem to fully embrace Gallery.

Sorry, I'm a WP noob and long time gallery user. I just did a fresh install of both and am trying to get to a point where I can use WP exclusively to post my content. Everytime I upload a new album I'll mention it in the Blog and it will have a description of same.

My problem is that when I click a picture it seems to bring gallery into the bottom of the WP page and just take over. So if you click over here to the main page you see a test album. I want to be able click in and see the WP environment still around the gallery content. Gallery seems to just take over so there is no way to get back to my Blog without hitting the title or back button.

I have sidebar image options of "Random Image" and "Recent Image" enabled although I don't see them. It also says "Warning: Using the Simple Header on the WPG2 Dashboard but I don't know what this means.

Any help greatly appreciated.
