I upgraded from WP2.3 to WP2.6.1.

During that process, I also used the "auto update" process on the WP2.6.1 "plugins" page before reading that I shouldn't use that process for WPG2>WPG3.0.7.

I have searched the forums for my EXACT problem and not found a solution.

I went through the WPG 3 readme file and installed according to WP. That included installing the G2Image Chooser into TinyMCE.

I have reset Permalinks to Default and then back to /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%. At the default, when I clicked on WPG, I got a total 404... couldn't even find a root page. With the custom, I get redirected to /wp-install.php when I click on WPG.

I'm not a pro at this and am really getting a little down about it. I am willing to share FTP and cPanel access to get it solved. Please advise.

Thanks,
Shari

Ok, because of the silence to my request, I've continued to work on my own, using the forums (proposed solutions to a number of issues)as my guide.

I've updated gallery to 2.2.5 and have successfully upgraded the gallery.

I've deleted and re-installed WPG3.0.7 and continue to get the same error as above. I simply cannot access the WPG3.0.7 validation page as I am re-directed to a "Nothing found for WP-admin Install page which shows my current WP Theme and a 404 error.

C'mon guys, I could really use some direction on this issue.

Thanks,
Shari

Ok, I've gone back to WPG3.0.1 and it works for me.

When y'all have any idea why 3.07 isn't working for me, I'd appreciate some ideas.

I'm hosted with Kiosk, have PhP5.2.4 and WP 2.6.2.

If there is a .htaccess problem with Php5, then perhaps that needs to be addressed in the WPG updates, not left up to us noobs who are clueless.
