problems adding pics to posts

Hi after install WPG2 3.0.7 i am having trouble postings pictures, please see attached screen shots for a example of what is happening, but basically when i add pictures to the post I see them, but when i go to publish it the pics disapear and just the number appears !! Any ideas ?? Thanks Wordpress 2.6

Unfortunately Screen shots will not tell me if the underlying URL to your photos is correct or not which is what I think the issue is..

Ok that post is seriously weird. It is generating entries like the following..
<div class="g2image_normal">30528</div>
<div class="g2image_normal">30526</div>
<div class="g2image_normal">30524</div>
<div class="g2image_normal">30521</div>
No URL or IMG image (which is why you just see a list of numbers).
In the Manage -> Edit Posts Screen, can you switch to HTML and post a screenshot of that screen. Something is not 100% right here..

Hmmmm I would have expected to see something like <wpg2>30530</wpg2> I cannot see how those entries will work.. It is like your wordpress is eating the wpg2 tags..

Ok, found the older versions I have put 3.0.6 back on and everything is working !!
have a look at the two posts i just did !! http://www.bordignons.net/author/admin
any ideas why 3.0.7 doesn't work for me ?

Unfortunately no really it is clearly evident you got some weird Gallery2 environmental issue going on. I never seen anything like that before..

I didn't try an earlier version of the plugin as you did... what finally worked for you matbor?

the earlier version fixed it for about 2 minutes... have also tired upgrading wordpress to the latest version, no luck there either !
haven't fixed it yet, haven't had time this week to look into it !
any suggestions welcomed !

OK.... what user are you logged in as when you post ?
If i am logged in as a user, other than ADMIN it does what I show in the above posts, but if I log in as ADMIN and post, it works very nicely !!!

Hi all, still having the same problem, have upgraded to wordpress 2.7 and still does the same thing, but if i log in as ADMIN and post it is fine.
Well it is fine to post at least, editing is a different story.
