System details:
Gallery v1.3.2-cvs-b7
Win 2k Server w/SP2
Apache 1.3.24
PHP 4.2.0
Problem:
When I am inside one of the main gallery albums and click the button to create a new nested album, I get this error message:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in f:apachehtdocsgallerydo_command.php on line 104
A new album, although, is created as a main gallary album, not a nested one.
Interesting note: If I go into the newly created album (main gallary album, not nested as it should have been) and click on new nested album, it does create it properly.
Thank you,
Marc

This sounds an awful lot like this thread: http://gallery.menalto.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpBB_14&file=index&action=viewtopic&topic=395&21 To summerize, a patch is currently being considered by bharat. If it is the same thing, try opening up your albums directory and removing the capitalization from all album names. Remember to backup your directory first! Let us know if this is your problem.

Changing the case of the album names to lowercase, seemed to have solved the problem...
Thank you VERY much for your help.
Please let me know when there is a fix for this problem. I try to keep up to date with the newest CVS's. I never had this problem until I upgraded from b5 to b7.
Again, thank you.

Marc, did you recently move your albums from Unix over to Windows? That's what Josh did, and that's what his patch was designed to fix. If you had this problem occur some other way, I'd like to know more details. Thanks.

Actully I never had my gallery on UNIX. Looking at the other thread I can see how that impression might have come up though. [We talked about dos2unix for awhile and I simply said that I changed servers] I merely got new hardware, and whatever was current then for apache (1.x), php, and gallery.

bharat,
I never had the albums on a unix server. I did move them from another windows box, but all was working with beta 3 and I believe b5 also. I was only when I up'ed to b7 that I started having that problem.
If I can be of any help, please let me know.
