Would it be technically possible to embeed two separate installs of G2 with this plugin?

I know this might not be a sane question, so I'm sorry.

The gallery on my website is way too big and I was wondering if I should make another one solely for videos. Would it be possible to embeed them both with WPG2, into the same installation of WordPress, as I do not want to install WP once again? Or...is it completely impossible? Thanks in advance for any response.

Unfortunately no because the paths to the Gallery2 are specific to your underlying Wordpress Options Table thus you cannot have two paths which is what you would require to have two Gallery2 installations..

Technically a Gallery2 installation should not slow down with more content as the underlying storage is SQL DB driven, the logical limit would be the ability of the Web Server to deliver the content..
