Question regarding writing a plugin to upload files to Gallery

I am writing a plugin for Photo Mechanic to upload files to Gallery. For the testing purposes of my plugin, is there a publicly available Gallery web site that lets anyone register and upload files, similar to Flickr? If not, I'll just install Apache and Gallery 2 on my machine and test that way. I apologize if this is a stupid question; I looked at a few of the "demo" Gallery websites from the screenshot link from the main Gallery web page, and none of them seemed to have a sign-up-for-uploading-to-Gallery feature.
