I've been troubleshooting this one for hours. As I was about to post for help I think I solved the issue. I'm going to go ahead and post my findings in hope that this will save someone else some time.

I have users that access G2 directly, and users that access G2 through my Wordpress blog via the WPG2 plug-in. WP & G2 have the ability to share users via the WPG2 plug-in for Wordpress. I was running into a glitch when a user logged into WP would try to access the G2 Google Maps Module via a link in WP. Clicking on the link would return an error indicating there were no items to display.

I eventually figured out that though my users were logged into WP, they were not authenticated on the authenticated in G2. I confirmed this by logging them into G2, after which the map would display properly.

SOLUTION: I had to deactivate the 'REGISTRATION' plugin. Afterwards I was able to login to WP and be authenticated in G2. After deactivating the plug-in I was able to reactivate it with no ill effects.

I wish my solution were holding true. It is not. I am continuing to have to login to Gallery2 manually in order to be able to access my Google map through the Maps Module. If I've not logged into Gallery2 the user is not authenticated and the map link displays the error 'There are no items available to be mapped'. If I log into Gallery2 I can access the map with no difficulty.

I was trying to be helpful with my post. Now I'm the one looking for help. Anyone else had this issue? Any solutions out there?
