The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):
Gallery version:1.5.7
Apache version:19990320
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):PHP v4.3.11
Graphics Toolkit:Netpbm
Operating system:Linux web213.opentransfer.com 2.6.14.4
Web browser/version (if applicable): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14

Any one help ? I know it's probably just that I am thick but I have one error in my config setup and I can't get rid of it . The first required field wants the URL to the Album Directory and I made one on my server and put in the full Location to it but I get the message directory does not exist . I have tried all ways to get this right but just get this message . please has anybody else come across this .

Hello Mackem,

Speaking in Gallery words,

a URL is something like: http://www.mydomain.com/gallery, or http://www.somedomain.co.uk/some/sub/folder/gallery
So here you have to enter the URL to your Gallery and to your albums folder.

a path is something like: /home/user/jens/www, or c:\apache\htdocs\www
Its the real physical location of your Gallery, or the albums folder on the webserver.

Hope this helps,

Jens
