[not solved after all] Adding a named anchor to Gallery-generated url: how?

Is it possible for {g->url...}-generated urls to include a named anchor element like:

http://..../main.php?g2_param1=blah&g2_param2=blah#anchorname

If so, how?

Answer: it's not possible within the {g->url ...} but this works fine, eg:

<a href="{g->url arg1="view..." arg2="..."}#{$id}">

But you can only use that in a template, not, for instance in a itemLink.
