Hi,
My goal : test if gallery1 works with this provider infomaniak.ch.
I took their patch gallery-1.3.5-pl1 because the function exc() is not enabled.
The path to netPBM isgiven by the provider: /usr/local/bin/convert
I set the album directory as ../album and temporary directory /tmp
Then the gallery was created.
But I can’t add albums or photo.
Php is v4.48 so that should be ok
There is a “serious”warnings: Your PHP installation is configured with the open_basedir restriction.
URL: http://www.bigminerals.com/gallery/
I read the FAQhttp://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery1:FAQ#When_I_try_to_login.2C_everything_seems_to_go_correctly.2C_but_Gallery_doesn.27t_log_me_in.3F
and seems to me everything is ok.
Any help would be appreciated
Any comment about the gallery1 (or gallery2) and this provider (I mean: I mean I would like if a version of gallery works) are welcome.
Best regards

Hello,

i can not help you with providers, but i can tell you that you shold not use any Gallery 1.3.x or 1.4.x version.
If exec() is disabled you can not use Gallery 1.x.

But G2 can use the PHP GD extension and does not necessarly need the exec() function.
