Gallery Capabilities- Commenting & rating photos and modifing views

I have just set up Gallery2 on a MAMMP test server and am running Drupal 5.7. I am trying to decide if Gallery2 is appropriate for what I am trying to accomplish and would appreciate any feedback or examples of gallery sites where this has been done.Also I am not a developer. Anyway, I'd like to know if Gallery 2 is able to do three basic things as examplified by the two example links below: 1. Want registered users to be able to upload photos and to categorize them such as kitchen, dining room, bathroom, garden 2. Give other site visitors (anonymous or registered) the ability to comment on any photo and to be able to assign them a 5 star rating as illustrated in 3.
