Hello!

I have used Gallery 2.1.2 version and Joomla. My gallery is in different address: http://www.xxx.xx/gallery2/main.php and main site http://www.xxx.xx In main site ihave made to link to this gallery and it has different theme than my originl site.

How i can make from main site link to newest album that opens in in new window?

In main site is couple of modules what i have used to show newest album or random image. But when i make the link to newest album it comes into main site and theme doesn`t work.

So is it possible to make a link to newest album that when i click it opens in new window and with original theme?

Hopefully someone understand what i mean!

install the imageblock module.
there is directions on the admin page of the module on how to add a external imageblock to another page.
Use the switch to do a new window.

Hello!

I have installed imageblock in Gallery 2 and also Gallery 2 image block module in Joomla. I have found out instructions on imageblock in Gallery 2, but still i don´t understand what to do?

In instruction i found out this one:

Sorry I know nothing of Joomla or how it works. Perhpoas you need to look in the Joomal forums.

what type of joomla do you use ?
If it's J1.X, you have to go to J's site modules and fill in the parameters for Gallery2 Image Block or Gallery2 Album Block.
The parameters are pretty clear

If it's about J1.5, check http://forum.4theweb.nl.

Hello Serbanc!

I downloaded that Gallery2 Album block. Installed it and published it but now when i open it it says: Gallery 2 Bridge Component is not yet configured!

I have used gallery2 component author by Michiel Bijland and version 2.0.13

Component looks like this:

So what to do next? New component or what? Where i exactly should put this code: <?php @readfile('http://www.xxxx.xx/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=imageblock.External&g2_blocks=randomImage&g2_show=title'); ?>

1. you download the patched version of the bridge. on Kai's gallery-addons.com
2. check the this forum, Joomla section on how to configure.

Hi again!

I get that new component and module to work but when i click this newest album link, it opens it in main window, like wrapper inside Joomla. Looks so stupid and texyt is too small. I would like to open it in new window without Joomlas theme. How to do that? Or is it possible at all?

text too small - I am not sure where, whether on gallery-addons.com or on galleryembedded.com there is a recipe for embedding - CSS stuff anyway.
w/o J theme - I did not tested, but I heard that you can do that. I am not sure about the links whether you have to edit them or not - check this forum and forum.4theweb.nl

I mean that when i have putted that recent album module in my page and when i click that newsest album image that whole Gallery 2 system opens inside Joomla with own theme. And i would like to get that work so that when i click that image on my Joomla site it opens that Gallery 2 site standalone in new window without Joomla and its theme.

So please help.

It has to be possible but how??
