The following information is required to get an answer:
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).
Gallery URL (optional but very useful):keppy.net/gallery
Gallery version:1.5-RC2
Apache version:have no idea
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please):
Graphics Toolkit:
Operating system:Lunix
Web browser/version (if applicable): ie6
I was using gallery on keppy.net hosted by startlogic but I moved my domain to 1and1. I copied all the files over to the new location and created new, blank .htaccess and config.php and I was able to run the config wizard. I'm able to bring up my gallery at the URL but none of my photos or albums showed, so I re created a new album Jonny (one of the four I had in my original gallery) and uploaded a few photos. I can see some photos and not others and none of the hightlight photos show in the main gallery.
Do you have any idea why some of my photos don't show and why my highlight photos don't show?
Is there a way to move all my existing albums with photos into the newly comfigured gallery?
Thanks,
Carol

Hello Carol,
when you say you copied "all the files"...
Which files did you copy? The most important folder is the "albums" folder.
If you did copy that, then its important to enter the correct path to it on your new server in the setup.

I did copy the album folder but it wouldn't find it and asked me to create another, so I did, I just copied the entire gallery directory with all sub directories.
In the new album folder there are the picture files, as well as the files gallery created for the thumbnail and the highlight photo. But some of the thumbnails, photos don't show and the highlight photo doesn't show no matter what.
The original album folder is still inside the gallery folder and ununsed by gallery.

Can you give me the URL to an album where only some photos are not shown?

there is only one album now, because I don't know how to get it to recongnize the albums I had.
1. some photos show and some do not
2. click on photo and the enlargement doens't show if the thumbnail doesn't show
3. the highlight photo doesn't show, even if the photo shows in the album
These are all newly uploaded into the newly created album after running the config wizard.
thanks,

there are actually two places that the album URL is entered. The system entered one and I entered the other. The one the system entered was not the location I was using (it was the full hosts URL and most of it didn't show in the window, so I didn't see the end of that location). Once I changed that, everything started working. It found all my old albums and loaded.. I was so excited

I am having a similar problem... Here is my relevant info:
Gallery URL (optional but very useful): metaphysicalrockstar.com/gallery
Gallery version: 1.5.7
Apache version: Apache/2.2.8 (FreeBSD) mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.8e DAV/2 PHP/5.2.6 with Suhosin-Patch
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): 5.2.6
Graphics Toolkit: Netpbm (is this the right thing?)
Operating system: FreeBSD 7.0 amd64
Web browser/version (if applicable): firefox 2.0.0.14
I recently upgraded from version 1.4.4-p12 to version 1.5.7. Now I can't see any of the thumbnails, resized images, or original images from my pre-existing albums or for newly uploaded photos. I think all the paths I've set are correct, because the appropriate captions/filenames show up, along with the size selections - but no images are displayed.
Any advice would be greatly appreciate, thanks.

Never mind... there was an erroneous URL in my config file that wasn't set by the web Setup interface. All works now.
