Switching to another website

I have been using Gallery for over 5 years and have never been on the Galery site. I had a site built for me in code by a friend of mine and now he is unavailable and I now have a new site hosted by Network Solutions. I have to keep the old site running and link to it from the new site because I have no idea how to bring the ictures over. I am only a bit computer literate and can use any help that I can get. Or am I better off just starting anew with the new site? Can anyone help?
The old site is http://www.singlesnetwork-it.com and the new site is http://www.singlesnetworkevents.com
