Validation Blank... memory set to 32M

ok,
I have this line in my php.ini

memory_limit = 32M

but I'm getting a blank validation tab in wpg2 in the wordpress admin.
any ideas?

using wp 2.3.3
wpg2 3.0.2
gallery 2.2

please help!
