Unable to install the core module Unable to activate the core module - Error installing Gallery Core

Hi,

I'm trying to install Gallery 2
under a linux server with:

Apache 2.2.4
PHP Version 5.2.5
MYSQL - 5.0.22

and in step 8 it failed and gives me an error of:

"Unable to install the core module Unable to activate the core module
Error installing Gallery Core"

i also attached the log file.

please help me. i really want to install this gallery 2......

Same problem

on the Step 8 (installation gallery core)
receive this mistakes

week ago I install gallery and all was OK. But two days ago I decide to reinstall gallery - I clear all - delete Database, delete gallery and install gallery on clean system - so I receive this trouble.

there's something wrong with your database server.

thanks for the help valiant. i completed the install now. there was an error with the database that was solved.
