[Publish XP] Stopped working

I maintain a website that has Gallery installed on it. The actual owner of the website is the one that uploads pictures. The Publish XP module was working fine for him until recently. It just stopped working. I had him re-download the registry patch and it still doesn't work. He has not changed any firewall settings or anything else on his system. I recently upgraded to 2.2.4 even though the system information says 2.2.3. Publish XP works fine for me. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Basically what happens when he tries to upload is he doesn't get the options to add photos to an existing album or to create a new album. It is just a blank box.
