Hi Just thought I'd post the problem I had and solved here. I've just got a new PC and found I had to install ImageMagick separately to get Gallery Remote working. My new PC is: Windows Vista 64 bit (Business) After installation, when i tried to add the first image it told me imagemagick was not installed. i tried re-installing it all but that didn't work. so i downloaded this file from the ImageMagick site: ImageMagick-6.3.8-2-Q16-windows-static.exe After installing that, I re-interpreted the instructions from this page: http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Imagemagick-to-Work-With-Gallery-Remote I changed the default ImageMagick path and put this in the im.properties file: Hope that helps somebody else. cheers |

I did the exact same thing philiphart did but used the 64 bit version: ImageMagick-6.5.1-6-Q16-windows-x64-static.exe Works like a champ! |

I've tried these steps and I still get the ImageMagick not found (and I am also getting jpegtran not found). I am running Windows 7 64x, I have installed Gallery Remote 1.5 and ImageMagick-6.5.2-4-Q16-windows-x64-static.exe. I have tried editing the im.properties file and I still get the error messages when I open Gallery Remote. Any further suggestions? |

Working for me on Windows 7 x64 and ImageMagick-6.6.0-5-Q16-windows-x64-static.exe. I'm using the WebStart version of GR and added: im.convertPath=C\:\\Program Files\\ImageMagick-6.6.0-Q16\\convert.exe to: %USERPROFILE%\.GalleryRemote\GalleryRemote.properties For jpegtran, I just copied that .exe to %WINDIR%\System32 |
