5 - Database Setup - (hostname): Access denied for user: '(username)@%' to database 'gallery2'

5 - Database Setup - 1and1.com

Upon hitting the "Save" button, I am greeted with this message:

Unable to connect to database with the information provided.

(hostname): Access denied for user: '(username)@%' to database 'gallery2'

This problem has been solved

Turns out it was an issue on my side. Where it wanted the Database name and automatically filled in gallery2 it threw me off. :]

hello, i'm having the same problem, and coincidentally i have service from 1and1.com as well. i don't understand your solution, can you please help? i've tried several diff methods of filling out the fields but they dont seeem to be working
