Site Admin Sidebar Missing

For some strange reason, and it may very well be something that I have done, I seem to keep losing my "Site Admin" sidebar for Gallery2 after a few months of upgrading. I can't figure out why though, as there is nothing that I recall doing to remove the sidebar. Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?
