Creating Album Pages?

With other Galleries in WordPress you can create a WordPress page and use something like [gallery=1] (1 being the album id or number) and it would load the thumbnails for that album on that particular page. Are there similar function commands built into the G2 Plugin like that?

Unfortunately Not within the WPG2 plugin, although technically this is possible just not supported. If you want, I be happy to create a feature request for you..

Does this also mean that there is no way to link to album pages as text links? For example the WPG2 plug-in automatically creates links to the Gallery main page as a Page link. I need to have Page links to the albums appear right below that link to the Gallery.

Gallery Link
> Album 1 Link
> Album 2 Link

Not really clear on what you are describing, it looks like an album tree to me, what would you like it to do?
