I have successfully installed GR on my Mac, and was able to work through the processs of installing ImageMagik. In trying a command line test in IM, I am able to process a test GIF so it appears to be working. I understand that the file path properties must be correctly set in the im.properties file for GR... the default is I guess at this point I am a bit lost as to what the correct path should be? I followed the directions at: any help is appreciated! |

Moved to GR forum. GR is not a 3rd party module. Dave |

Hi, The only difference is that I used macport to install all the apps required by gallery. Gallery remote just seemed to work |

I have tried to use macports to install IMAGEmagick but it fails... Have tried 'selfupdate' in macports and it fails. Have tried reinstalling MacPorts and same errors. I am at a point where I think I might just reinstall Leopard and start over. I really want to get this working. |

yay! Finally got it to work, I had to install Xcode 3 development tools from the Leopard dvd (I wasn't aware that was a requirement for Macports) - and then used macports to install ImageMagick... and then Gallery 2 works! |
