Gallery version (not just "2"):2.2.3
Module / Theme name & version:eCard 1.0.0
Browser (e.g. Firefox 2.0): Firefox (works in IE7)

The eCard feature doesn't send emails. It lets you fill it in, and it goes to the Success! page but no email arrives. I was trying it in firefox and it never worked, but then i tried it in IE7 and it did work.
Any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks

Interesting to see this was already an issue in FF 2.x. I have exactly the same problem.

When I configure the email system to use my SMTP server, ecards are sent out as HTML but for some reason this HTML appears unformatted in the recipients' mailboxes, i.e. with all the HTML tabs plain visible.

When I configure the email system to use PHPMail, ecards are sent out correctly using IE 8, and appear nicely formatted in the recepients mail clients. When I do same with FF 3.5.x, no email arrives at all to the recipients, and no error message appears to the sender.

Other email-relying functions such as "Send test email", registration-related email, shopping cart related emails and "Contact" emails seem to work correctly, though...

My configuration:

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense (none actually) that what appears in the email client varies depending on which browser people used on your Gallery to send the eCard. Gallery is sending the email (via PHP) and building the emails via templates, it should be completely browser independent. IOW, even if you were using Lynx to browse Gallery and send the email, that should work :)

I just tested sending an ecard from your site to my gmail account and everything looked fine. I was using FF 3.5.x.
