Wordpress 2.3.1 Hello- I was looking for a way to get the the images I put into my posting to be a "full sized" version of the image, but be a link to the album. So essentially, the IMG tag points to the image and the HREF points to the album. I don't really want the full sized version, the "WPG2 tag of image" would be better since it can select the size closest to what I want to display, however it only does a link to the image itself and I'd rather it go to the album. In the drop down list, it seems there's only one way to link to the parent album, and that's with a thumbnail. What I'm trying to do is select a few choice pictures from an album, but clicking any of them from the published post will take you to the full album. Any thoughts about how I could go about doing this, even if it means mucking around in some code? Thanks, |

Sorry I must have missed this post before. Unfortunately what you are looking for is not something we support, technically you could generate links like this by manipulating the Gallery2 URL Generator but unless you have a good understanding of php what you are looking for is pretty advanced..

You could do what you want to do by changing the "Fullsize with link to image" in g2image/jscripts/functions.js. You'd have to change it so that it inserts the album link instead of the image link. Take a look at it. If you can't figure it out quickly, I'll take a look and post some code. I'm on my way out the door now and can't right now.
